Warm body ready to do at least 90 days or more in Haiti on my own dime

I can also drive a truck, pound a nail, create a smile, design or build a shelter, put up a tent, make someone feel secure, transport water, dig a ditch, learn french/creole, teach english...or almost anything else within reason for that matter, give project management guidance, etc. etc. the list goes on.

I'm willing to go to Haiti and volunteer to do about anything I can. I can and will pay for all my own expenses and be responsible for my own safety and security. I'm available to go in about mid-August 2010 after I have my vaccination regimen..do you have yours? ;) I'd like to stay a minimum of 90 days on the tourist visa and then go over my options.

I'm also willing to hook up with other like minded folks and go down together. I'm searching for other folks who can pay for themselves and have similar life experiences. Ideally, the person(s) I would be most wanting to meet up with would be those with similar experiences as far as international travel or exposure per below.

I'm a no maintenance sort of person. I've traveled extensively throughout the world on holidays. I understand transportation systems and how to use them, have dealt with the stresses of language barriers, no how to make contact and network socially to achieve positive outcome. I've lived a large part of my adult life abroad, partly in the third world. I'm prior US Air Force and have had real world experience in disaster relief, although that was many years ago.
