ACFFC has become a distribution center for aid. We are a grassroots organization that runs a shoestring budget and have survived multiple disasters over the years. We are always there for the community, despite our deeply rooted arts program. Our building has suffered damage but for the most part it is still standing. 80% of Jacmel has crumbled and in these moments the locals turn to our organization. We still do not access to communications and are left in the dark with intermittent pieces of information and a short call here and there. Because of our location we have been a forgotten community.
