Volunteers Needed, National Teaching Hospital, Mirebalais, Haiti

I am the Volunteer Coordinator and Assistant to the Director of Construction for Partners In Health. We are currently constructing the new National Teaching Hospital in Mirebalais Haiti. The hospital, which is well underway, is one of the largest reconstruction projects to occur in Haiti since the earthquake. The hospital will be the largest and most advanced public hospital in Haiti with over 320 beds and 200,000 square feet of space. We are currently looking for experienced and qualified volunteers who are interested in Haiti and helping the country rebuild.

Partners In Health, a well respected NGO, has worked in Haiti for over 25 years. PIH, with its Haitian sister organization Zanmi Lasante, has over 5,000 employees working in eleven clinics and hospitals providing much needed health care throughout the country. The Mirebalais Hospital, when complete, will be the flagship for Haitian Healthcare system rebuilding and educating the next generation of medical professionals in Haiti.
