On a shoe-string budget, the Rasin Foundation has built a small medical clinic in rural Leogane, organized 5 medical missions since february 2010, introduced dental and eye care to a community that had no doctors. We have delivered medical care and provided medication free of charge to poor residents who otherwise could not afford to. On each of our medical missions we find that 30% of our patients have severe hypertension and require monthly supply of medications in addition to other serious medical conditions that requires continued management. The small donations provided by our board members can no longer sustain our increasing service in rural Leogane.

We are looking for a passionate individual to help us with grant writing and fundraising activities so we can continue to increase access to health care in rural Haiti.
