Edicomsa International Inc. ( www.edincsp.com )a company created in 1978 concentrates its activity in the fields of architectural and engineering design and construction of all kind of buildings specially housing, schools, clinics, hospitals etc. using its own Industrialized Construction Technology. The activity has been used worldwide in all continents and special emphasis has been put in the design and construction of social mass affordable housing, for both private and Government Clients. More than 200.000 housing units have been built during this pèriod and our technology ha shown to be an extremely usable tool to solve the problems of mass, urgent housing in good quality, low cost and gfast execution.

The technology, based in the use of wall and slabs precast panels, reinforced, insulated, bearing up to 5 storeys building, has been used in Countries with sismic situations with excellent results. Factories for the production of the elements of the technology, are placed in the Country as per need and aree baasically run by local workers trained by Edicomsa for such task. Number of factories will depend on the needs of the project and are efficient with distances up to 250 kms from the factory to different sites.

The quality of construction is excellent, production and assembly fairly simple, high speed of execution and a vast experience in this area of work , makes the Technolgy a great asset for a situation as the one produced in Haiti. This could be an extremely good tool for the rebuilding of the Country because of its technical characteristics and the fact that can be produced within the Country at cost to help the community.
