Location

I recently quit my corporate job at The Boeing Company of 12+ Yrs in an effort to do something more meaningful with my life. Before Boeing, I worked at the Peace Corps recruiting office in the Washington DC area, but opted not to go right out of school. I now find myself compelled to go back to my original dream to do some hands-on, volunteer work abroad. Given all the natural disasters that have hit Haiti in the past year, I would really, really like to work in Haiti.

I have a variety of skills to offer, ranging from large-scale project management and computing expertise to teaching children (I volunteered at the Seattle Aquarium in the Education Program for Children). I also have volunteered at church sponsored Summer Camps for children with HIV. I am also French literate and would welcome the opportunity to practice!

I am available for an infinate amount of time, but I am realistically looking at a month assignment, given that I have never been to Haiti.
