The Disaster Accountability Project is seeking developer/tech volunteers with knowledge in PHP and MYSQL to develop what will be a user generated database of NGOs soliciting donations for Haiti relief.

The database will improve awareness of the range of opportunities to donate ($, supplies, skills, etc) and will include discussion organizations' previous activities in Haiti. Many organizations are asking for money for relief... some have years of experience working in Haiti and others do not.

Instead of organizations soliciting donations, users will be able to research/develop profiles of relief organizations.

Content is already developed in a spreadsheet that includes over 70 organizations.

The ultimate goal is improved awareness, oversight, and public accountability of relief organizations.
