The Haiti Family Initiative is organizing our second annual Summer Recreation program for women and children in Jacmel. We will be running sports, arts and crafts, music programs for children ages 5-13 and mothers.

Designers Needed
We are looking for anyone who is interested in helping us design and construct dresses that will in turn be sold to raise money to send to Haiti. Some knowledge of fashion design is a plus but it is not required we will teach those who are willing to help. If you are interested please contact us at volunteerdfc@yahoo.com

As I said earlier, I will do any task that I know how to do, or anything your organization has the resources to teach me. I work well with children and women in particular, but I am also very willing to clean and build. I am very dedicated and impassioned to help rebuild Haiti. I have seen first hand in my short time in Haiti earlier this year that the good intentions of many people across the world who donated to assist with disaster relief, have been misused by those in power because few Haitians are feeling the effects of this generosity.
