I would love to help in rebuilding efforts in Haiti, and am available from just before New Years until January 22, or thereabouts. I am an enthusiastic and hard worker working on my degree in Engineering-Physics (I am a rising junior). Although rebuilding/construction/rubble clearing would be my preference, I'm a quick learner and I want to help in any way I can. I can speak some conversational French.

Photography, videography, pre and post production of both, media relations/ communication. camera operation, Spanish (as a second language) and general clean up are what I can offer.

I can offer visual and written communication through media relations and/or just pure documentary purposes. I have experience in everything press releases to hosting (containing) media for stories in touchy situations. I can also offer videography (from start to finish), graphic design and typography services for any communication needs.

In addition, I am quite handy and am willing to do anything clean up to food and supplies distribution.

I would like to help in any way I can. I work in a hardware store and own my own home. I have a lot of general knowledge in fixing the home, home improvement and carpentry work around my own home. I can run wire, pipe, I could help frame. In worse case scenario I could at least carry heavy loads. I can lift 200lbs(~90) off the ground and carry 100 lb (~45 kg) loads. I can cook! I can wash clothes or do the dishes. Anything at all to help.

Volunteers travelling to Jacmel

ACFFC has become a distribution center for aid. We are a grassroots organization that runs a shoestring budget and have survived multiple disasters over the years. We are always there for the community, despite our deeply rooted arts program. Our building has suffered damage but for the most part it is still standing. 80% of Jacmel has crumbled and in these moments the locals turn to our organization. We still do not access to communications and are left in the dark with intermittent pieces of information and a short call here and there.
