Put simply, I'm in Learning & Development because I am passionate about developing people and empowering them to not only achieve, but to recognise their full potential.
As part of my current experience, I am regularly responsible for consulting with internal and external clients to design industry specific training solutions. I deliver this by assessing business requirements and recommending appropriate solutions that meet the current and emerging needs of industry, business and the broader community.
SOCIAL WORKER NEEDED ON URGENT BASIS FOR HAITI 'MEETING PLACE'
Purpose of engagement:
-- to help donors and recipients co-create a 'conversation' between humanitarian aid agencies and humanitarian aid recipients along the lines of community-based participatory research.
-- to draw up a simple 5-point guide to the 'conversation' for the public eye.
Foreseeable skills are the ability:
1. to create a safe environment
2. to expose feelings of vulnerability
3. to enroll parties in the need to build trust.
4. to facilitate trustbuilding
5. to help parties co-create common understanding by means of situation-emergent language.
