Want to return to Haiti, use basic Creole I've learned

-basic skills in Creole -work in water sanitation projects adapted for situations such as Haiti -experience as an ESL teacher -previously a volunteer in Haiti -willing to lend a hand with construction (training in brick-laying) I have completed the Byki emergency relief course for Creole, which gives you a basic knowledge of "survival phrases," including medical phrases. I spent two weeks in Haiti and discovered that, while I need to be immersed in the language and of course do more study, I could communicate most necessary information. My science fair project this year involves water sanitation solutions for situations such as the one found in Haiti. I am by no means claiming to have the technical expertise of an engineer, but I hope that I can gain some insight and apply it when I return to Haiti. I taught an informal English class in Belize for a few weeks, and I am looking to become involved in teaching English in my local community. I spent two weeks in Haiti in summer 2011, where I worked on construction. I have also worked on construction in Belize.
