I am an EMT hoping to volunteer with a medical mission in Haiti. I am a carpenter by trade and would be also be glad to work on reconstruction or clean-up efforts.

Ÿ Served as senior medic for an infantry company of over one hundred and thirty men, including medical coverage for thirty two men under my direct care. Ÿ Managed all daily operations of three company medics. Ÿ Coordinated activities among various departments such as Communications (S6), Operations (S4), and Medical. Ÿ Trained over one hundred and forty non medical personnel and achieved significant improvements in medical proficiency. Ÿ Assisted with medical inventory and ordering of perishable items, equipment and supplies. Ÿ Arranged for routine maintenance and upkeep of medical vehicles, equipment, and facilities. Ÿ Managed all administrative and human-resource functions of the company medical team including monitoring employee performance, and training. Ÿ Supervised three employees, scheduled work hours, resolved conflicts, determined duties. Ÿ Motivated team members to work together and provided one-on-one training. Ÿ Directed the cleaning of all living areas, equipment and the field kitchen to comply with US Army sanitation standards.

Basic Life Support, First Responder, burn & wound care, Nurse support, CPR, Medical Assisting, and basic patient care

EMT certified, Prehospital care experience, FEMA certified responder, In hospital Emergency Department experience, CNA certified, excellent physical shape and health.

EMT (paramedic trained, cert needs to be re-upped) with 8 years of experience in field ready to go. Worked in ER at local trauma center for several years as well.

7 years nursing experience with 4 of those being in the US Navy. IV certified, phlebotomy, and CPR certified.

First response basic medical care. Can assist EMT's and Paramedics.
