We are an Australia-based media and PR agency with an international reach. We work only on social justice non-violence and human rights issues. We are keen to help voices in such areas reach mainstream media to assist in advocacy and awareness. We can provide media and PR strategies as well as training for media relations.

Location

I'm willing to go to Haiti and volunteer to do about anything I can. I can and will pay for all my own expenses and be responsible for my own safety and security. I'm available to go in about mid-August 2010 after I have my vaccination regimen..do you have yours? ;) I'd like to stay a minimum of 90 days on the tourist visa and then go over my options.

We are currently evaluating the need to send a field team of radio communications specialists into Haiti. This team will be installing a commercial UHF 2-way radio system and loan portable handheld and mobile 2-way radio equipment to the NGOs working there, without charge.

This communications will drastically increase the ability of the NGOs to better internally coordinate their aid and relief operations and activities. Without proper communications the efficient coordination of their efforts are greatly hampered.

Location

I can offer visual and written communication through media relations and/or just pure documentary purposes. I have experience in everything press releases to hosting (containing) media for stories in touchy situations. I can also offer videography (from start to finish), graphic design and typography services for any communication needs.

In addition, I am quite handy and am willing to do anything clean up to food and supplies distribution.
